N2O2 announces findings in cost analysis of compressed air systems
Recent N2O2 analysis reveals that a compressor will cost more to operate in its first year of operation than it will to purchase and install. When analyzing the five-year life cycle cost of a new compressed air system, 80 percent of these costs are energy costs. The cost of capital equipment involves only about 9 percent of the life-cycle cost.
